A longtime resident of Kettle Falls, Norman passed away peacefully at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane Nov. 7, 2011 after a brief illness.

Kettle Falls Pack and Troop 965 gathered over 1,350 pounds of food for the Kettle FAlls Food Bank. Items were donated by residents of Kettle Falls during the recent Scouting for Food campaign. The Kettle Falls Food Bank is still accepting donations for this food drive. Donations may be left at the Kettle Falls Food Bank, located at 560 Meyers Street.
