Cougars will host River View
The 2012 season continues for the Chewelah Cougars (9-1, 6-0) after a thrilling 26-20 win over the Okanogan Bulldogs last Friday night at Snyder Field.
The Cougars broke out to an early lead, but defensive adjustments by Okanogan kept Chewelah from breaking many big plays. The Bulldogs allowed only one touchdown after a big Chewelah first quarter. âThere were moments against Omak when we did some great things and other moments when we couldnât do anything,â KFHS head coach Curtis Corvino said. âIt was kind of a microcosm of the season.â
