The Colville City Police, with assistance from the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol and the Washington State Patrol Crime Scene Response, are conducting a homicide investigation in Colville. On Jan. 10 at approximately 8:20 a.m., Colville Police responded to a call and located a deceased 56-year-old David Barr at 2072 ½ West 2nd.
Barr was found dead with signs of trauma to his head and neck, says Stevens County Prosecuting Attorney Tim Rasmussen.
