Colville idle until after the break

Colville High had no trouble last week beating Rogers High School 6-1 in Spokane.
The Indians swept the singles matches and won two of the three doubles matches.
In singles, Colville No. 1 Tessa Moore won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. CHS No. 2, freshman Darby Fox, also won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
Sophomore No. 3 Taylor Little beat Sabrina Brown, 6-2, 6-1 and CHS No. 4 Cassidy Lindback beat Bidhya Bhandari, 6-1, 6-4.
In doubles, the Colville duo of Yelena Kalina/Alyssa Kinebaum downed Rogers’ Margaryta Iatchenko/Allie Hart, 6-1, 6-2.

Colville downs Pullman in GNL soccer action

Colville High (4-2) pulled off something the boy’s soccer program hasn’t been able to accomplish in recent memory—or ever. Beat Pullman on the pitch.
The Indians forged a 3-0 first half lead in the home match against the Greyhounds on goals by Filipp Susin (first minute), on an assist from Carl Johnston; Chris Benson at the 34-minute mark and Susin again three-minutes later (on an assist from Kris Griessmann).
