The Auto CAD architectural drafting class at Colville High School recently started work on a 3-D model of Victory Park, a Habitat for Humanity (Habitat) housing project currently being built behind Wal-Mart in Colville.
Students in Todd Strobel’s Auto CAD class are building a diorama of the Victory Park project to help increase community interest and awareness. Once completed, the Victory Park project will provide housing for eight families.
Colville Branch AAUW (American Association of University Women) will sponsor a women's health forum, "Staying Balanced in Troubled Times," on Thursday, Feb. 16, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Rendezvous Theater, In¬stitute for Extended Learning, 985 S. Elm Street, Colville.
According to Terri Elders, Colville Branch AAUW President, this year's health forum event will address how stress and uncertainty impact women's moods and behavior, as well as their general physical health.
