Donald Neil Grubb passed away peacefully at his home in Chewelah on Dec. 6, 2011. Donnie was born in Wattford, North Dakota on Dec. 9, 1934 to Robert Grubb-Charlson and Nora Ann (Barhart). Donnie was one of 10 children. The Grubb family moved to the Chewelah area about the time Donnie was in third or fourth grade. He graduated from Jenkins High School in 1953.
John Raymond Haynes, age 99, for many years of the Inchelium area, passed away on Nov. 22, 2011 on to his heavenly reward.
John was the son of Thomas and Etta Haynes and was born in Laurel, Oregon. He had one sister and five brothers, all who preceded him in death.
John worked in the lumber industry for many years, a good share of the time as a saw filer.
He moved to Inchelium, starting the Chapel of the Pines, which he was pastor for about 18 years, along with his wife, Gladys, who preceded him in death in 1998.
Cora Dorayne Clinkenbeard (“Doryâ€) will be remembered by family and friends as a woman who loved and cared for her family and friends.
Dory, 69, of Colville, was called home to Jesus suddenly and unexpectedly on Dec.5, 2011.
