Orville McKee

Orville McKee was born on Oct. 30, 1916 in Colville to Char¬les and Emma McKee. He passed away on Jan. 14, 2012 in Se¬attle.
Orville was raised on a farm in Colville, at the foot of Old Dominion Mountain. He graduated from Colville High School in 1937 and came to Seattle in 1941 to work for The Boeing Com¬pany, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Aero Mechanics District Lodge 751 Retirement club.

Berneice Elaine Magee

Berneice Elaine Magee passed away on Jan. 18, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born in Ritzville on Dec. 7, 1928, the daughter of Henry and Marie (Metzner) Buscher.
Berneice grew up in Ritzville and moved to the Hunters area in 1938. She married Guy Magee in 1949 and resided in Colville until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Magee; sis¬ters Lois Lakey and Shirley Dietzman, and daughters, Coral Hansen and Patty Feldhausen.
Berneice is survived by her brother, Stan Buscher and his wife Shirley, Colville.

Perry Green

In loving memory of Perry Green, a resident of Colville who was born Nov. 3, 1951 and passed away Jan. 16, 2012.
He is survived by his loving family and friends.
He was a gracious man and accepted people without judgment. Perry will always be remembered and missed dearly.

Dick Lefernick

Longtime federal forester and firefighter Dick Leferink died Friday, Jan. 6 in Spokane hospital after a nearly three-year struggle with cancer. He was 59. He was born March 7, 1952, at Fairchild Air Force Base.
Dick spent his professional career managing forests for the White Mountain Apache Tribe in eastern Arizona and the Colville Confederated Tribes of northeastern Washington. Dick was with the Colvilles from October 1981 until his retirement in 2007, managing the 360,000 acres on the Inchelium District.
