Margaret “Peggy” Jean Kondrath

Margaret “Peggy” Jean (Crooks) Kondrath, a long-time resident of Colville, passed away on May 14, 2014 in Colville. Peggy was born on October 7, 1927 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Minnie (Johnson) Osborne.

Michael Hofmeister

Michael “Mike” Lawrence Hofmeister, a lifetime resident of Evans, passed away on May 5, 2014 in Colville at the age of 86. Mike was born on May 1, 1928 on the family farm in Evans, the son of Lawrence and Barbara (Epp) Hofmeister.
He was raised on the farm and attended grade school in Bossburg. He completed his education at the old Marcus High School and graduated in 1946. Mike then worked in the local quarry for U.S. Gypsum Company.

Katheryn “Kitty” Ree Bundick

Katheryn “Kitty” Ree Bundick, a seven-year resident of Colville, passed away on May 17, 2014 in Colville at the age of 69. Kitty was born on Nov. 13, 1944 in Lorado, West Virginia in Logan County, the youngest of 17 children to Boyd and Ocie Bell (Blankenship) Mullins.

Ethel Batholomew

Ethel Lucille Bartholomew passed away on April 29, 2014 at the age off 99. Ethel was born on Sept. 30, 1914 in the town of Brutus, New York – the first child of How¬ard Zellar and Amelia (Dutton) Zellar.
Ethel grew up in Weedsport, New York, and was joined by a sister and five brothers, before her father’s sudden death from meningitis. The youngest, a baby boy, also died from the dis¬ease. As the oldest, Ethel left school and worked in a dress factory to help support the family. When her mother remar¬ried, Ethel returned to school and graduated with the Weed¬sport class of 1933.
