Wayne Doyle Tweedy passed away on February 6, 2015 in Inchelium. He was born the son of John and Charlene (McPherson) Tweedy on July 10, 1958 in Colville. Wayne was raised in Colville and attended school there.
William â€śBillâ€ť Roger Schauls, a 53-year resident of Colville, passed away on February 11, 2015 at his Colville home. Bill was born on October 4, 1929 in Faulkton, South Dakota, the son of Michael and Mary (Polchaw) Schauls.
At the age of three, Bill moved with his family from, Faulkton, South Dakota to Harrison, Idaho. There he attended the Indian Springs Country School through the fifth grade. Bill then transferred to the Harrison School where he graduated.
Virginia Ruth Hall, a long time resident of Arden, passed away in Chewelah on February 3, 2015 at the age of 98. Virginia was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 25, 1916, the daughter of Robert and Cora (Parrish) Seney.
Margaret Diane (Brown) Laird, a long time resident of Colville passed away on February 6, 2015 in Spokane at the age of 67. She was born to Clessan and Fern Brown on February 20, 1947 in Shelby, Ohio.
The family moved to Oregon in 1948 where she attended a small school in Sams Valley, until the family moved to Washington State in 1957. Margaret then attended school in Inchelium until the family finally settled in Colville.
Marilyn O. Williams, age 77, of Colville, passed away at her home on Feb. 7, 2015. She was born on Christmas day, 1937 in Springdale, the daughter of George M. and Beulah M. (Belton) Blair.
Laurie Colette Sessman passed away on Jan. 30, 2015 in Colville. She was born the daughter of Floyd M. Matthews and Betty J. Sadler on Nov. 4, 1949 in Los Angeles, CA. Laurie was raised and attended school in Southern California, graduating from Glendora High School in 1967.
Following high school, Laurie attended and graduated from the University Of Southern California School Of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, and served her community as a chemical dependency counselor in the Los Angeles area. She also participated in many grassroots organizations for the better of her community.
Dean Lee Martin, born August 14, 1958 in Bremerton, cashed in his chips at his home in Fruitland on January 22, 2015.
Dean grew up in Seabeck, raising hell on an above average level, and eventually working in the family construction business operating backhoes and bulldozers. He bought the family business and operated it for many years until moving to Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
Dennis Lee Jenson, a 46-year resident of Stevens County, passed away on Feb. 4, 2015 at the age of 72. Dennis was born on March 19, 1942 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the son of John and LaDeane Jenson. He was raised in Pocatello, Idaho, where his love of exploration began. His parents were avid camping, hikÂ¬ing, hunting and fishing enthusiasts, which ignited his love for the great outdoors. In his free time, he could always be found hiking in the foothills of Pocatello looking for â€ślost treasuresâ€ť he knew were out there somewhere.
Charleen Frances Tharaldson, age 80, of Colville, went home to be with her Lord on Feb. 1, 2015 in Colville. She was born on Nov. 5, 1934 in Jordan, MT, the daughter of Charles Franklin and Maxine (Hubbard) Hawkins.
Mr. Wayne Delbert Schwenke, age 64 of Chatsworth, GA passed away on Feb. 2, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Chapman Schwenke; his father, Herbert Schwenke; a sister, Dorothy Krause; a brother, Francis Schwenke.
He is survived by his sons, Darren Schwenke of Kettle Falls; Nathan Schwenke and wife Rammie, Evans; Darrell Schwenke, Canon City, CO, and daughter, Jayne Watson and husband Jason, of Chatsworth; step-daughter, Carey Sempf, Chatsworth; and his life-long love, Jeannine Drake, Chatsworth.
