Dorothy Ann Pratt passed away on Jan. 11 in Spokane at age 86.
Dorothy was born on March 22, 1928 in Bandon, Oregon. At age 12, her family moved to Sherman Creek. By age 16, her working career had begun. She started working for McIntosh Hardware in Kettle Falls.
Harry Morrow, a World War II veteran, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Jan. 6, 2015. He was born Oct. 29, 1921 in Portland Oregon, the youngest of two boys, to Paul and Elsie (Covey) Morrow. Harry was the faithful father of five children, grandfather to eight and great-grandfather to 22. Harry became a member of the Washington State Grange on Sept.1, 1957 (58 years ago), during which time he held several offices. He was also a 75-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical WorkÂ¬ers.
John Edwin Behrens, an 82-year resident of the Kelly Hill community near Barstow, passed away on Jan. 7, 2015 in Colville at the age of 91. John was born in Okanogan, the son of Herman and Bertha May (Baxter) Behrens.
His family moved to Montana where they resided until he was five-years-old. In 1929 they moved to Kelly Hill. John was raised and attended school there. He grew up working alongside his father on the family ranch.
Harold Arthur Mace, 87, of Colville, passed away on Jan. 6, 2015. Harold was born July 26, 1927 in Big Sandy Montana to Arthur and Mable Mace. Harold was one of five boys, including Harvey, Vern, Leonard, and Lewis.
Harold grew up in Big Sandy until the family moved to Troy, MT. in 1941. The family moved to Sandpoint, ID. in 1943 when Harold was a sophomore in high school. In 1945, Harold moved to the Curlew/Chesaw area, where he worked as a cowboy for his uncle, Dent Henderson. Harold competed in rodeos in Washington and Idaho during this time as a bronc rider.
Hazel Augusta Learn passed away on Jan. 8, 2015 in Colville. She was born to Don Michael and Effie Elizabeth (Henry) Learn on June 13, 1921 in Diamondville, PA.
John A. âJackâ Lilienthal, 70, entered into rest on Dec. 24, 2014 following a long battle with cancer. He was born in Spokane to parents Robert and Josephine Lilienthal on March 18, 1944.
Jack graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1962 and went on to graduate from Eastern Washington University and Whitworth College in Spokane. He spent time as a teacher in the Colville area, went to work for Goodwill Industries of the Northwest as a Certified Rehab Counselor in June of 1990, retiring after 23 years in September 2013.
Lowell Allen Bedingfield passed away at Providence Mount Carmel Hospital on Dec. 27, 2014 after a life-long battle with Lerakodyatrophy. He was 58.
Lowell attended schools in Colville for 10 years and graduated from Upper Columbiai Academy in Spangle. He attended Spokane Community Collegeâs Colville Center and worked for a time at Colville Floral & Nursery.
Otto Edward Foerch, passed away on Dec.22, 2014 at Buena Vista Nursing Home at the age of 92. He was born on Jan. 27, 1922 in Union City, New Jersey to Otto and KathÂ¬erine (Kolinger) Foerch.
Grace Rose Lott-Everson, went to be with the Lord, her SavÂ¬ior, on Dec. 17, 2014. Grace was born in October 1926, the only child of Fred B. and Anna Ruth Lott.
Graceâs family moved to Kirkland in 1927 where her father started the Eastside Battery Company and later moved to the Rose Hill area where her mother started Lottsville Cash & Carry alongside Eastside Battery. She attended Kirkland High School and graduated in 1944. She worked for the family business, building generators and rebuilding engines. She married and had daughter, Lurinda and son, Dean.

Deborah Colleen Rarrick, a 20-year resident of Colville, passed away on Dec. 26, 2014 in Spokane at the age of 45. Deb was born on May 20, 1969 in Tigard, Oregon, the daughter of Terry and Gail (Robinson) Swagerty.
Deb attended grade school in Kettle Falls, and later moved with her family to Nebraska, where she graduated from Papillion-LaVista High School in 1987.
