Raymond Oliver Sletten, a seven-year resident of Chattaroy passed away on Nov. 27, 2012 in Spokane. The midwife, Mrs. Shane, delivered Ray on the family ranch on November 29, 1925 in Zahl, ND, the son of Ole and Mabel (Rude) Sletten.
Marjorie Louise Reed, 78, passed away, November 28, 2012 in Colville. Marjorie was born on October 1, 1934 in Lisbon, Iowa to Clarence and Elizabeth (Townson) Stritt.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Carolyn Luebke-Herr and husband, Robert, of Colville; Sandy Johnson, Donald Cheney, Diane Corn, and Cindy Belding.
There will be a wake at a later date.

Glen E. Morris, 84, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. He was born Jan. 16, 1928 in Usk to Fred and Nellie (Masters) Morris.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard, Jean and Robert, and sister Blanche. He is survived by his wife, Bette Jeanne, and four children: Catherine Brady (Bob), Shelly Garg (Raj), John Morris (Debra) and Margaret Morris; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and brother Wayne and sister Wendy.
Evelyn Barker, born âJuanita Evelyn Benskinâ, a resident of Spokane, passed away on Nov. 24, 2012 in Spokane. She was born on Aug. 31, 1931 in Port Gamble the daughter of Delbert Charles and Juanita Bernice (Siegel) Benskin.
Linda Jean Coe was born on Sept. 16, 1946, in Bell, CA., to Erik and Clara Ferm. She passed away Nov. 17, 2012.
Linda was raised by her aunt and uncle, Gunde and Albert Rude in Wallace, Idaho. Linda had two sisters, Judy (Mitch) Almeida and Carol Mueller, and a stepbrother, Loren Rude.
On July 18, 1970, Linda married Gary Coe. They would continue as soul mates and best friends over the next 42 years. In 1977, they moved to Loon Lake where they still reside. The family includes two sons, Brad (Kari Kaufman) and Brian (Lisa Miller) and seven grandchildren.
Barbara J. (Burgess) Price Berger, 75, entered into rest on Nov. 29, 2012. She was born on June 13, 1937 to parents Paul D. and Muriel (Jessup) Burgess in Boise, Idaho.
Barbara grew up and attended school in the Colville area. She enjoyed playing bridge, and golfing, but most of all she enjoyed spending time at their cabin on Loon Lake.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Kenneth; son, James (Teri) Price; daughter, Julie Price; stepchildren, Kathleen Jones and Ken Berger Jr.; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Elizabeth Alice (Farr) Rose, 88, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 17, 2012. Elizabeth had lived in Olympia since 1965. She died at St. Peterâs Hospital after battling lymphoma.
Elizabeth was an only child and was born in Pullman on March 15, 1924 to Ed and Adeline Farr. She graduated high school at Pullman in 1942. Most of her career was spent as a legal secretary, which is how she met her husband, Clyde B. Rose.
Bonnie Arlene Brown of Kettle Falls passed away at age 88 on Nov. 23, 2012 after a brief illness.Â Bonnie was born on Dec. 6, 1923 in Lakeview, OR.Â She was the daughter of George and Ethel (Ogle) McCoul.Â
Bonnie was married to Clifford Brown and they spent most of their life on the Pend Oreille River and in Kettle Falls.Â She loved to read, knit/crochet and spend time with her family fishing, camping and huckleberry picking.Â She was also a member of the Kettle Keepers, TOPS, the Camper Club and the Red Hat Society.
Clayton K. Burch, (Clay) a 27-year resident of Inchelium, passed away on Nov. 22, 2012 at his Inchelium home. He was born on Feb. 14, 1946 in Tacoma, the son of Wilfred John and Sarah Ada (Walker) Burch.
Clayton was raised and attended school in the Eatonville and Puyallup areas. Following high school, Clayton began work in the timber industry as a logger. A short time later, he started work in residential construction in Everett. W
George Kelly, age 75, passed away in Spokane Dec. 22, 2011. He was born on Jan. 6, 1936 in Ontario, Canada, the son of George and Lucy (Tye) Kelly. George attended school in CanÂŹada and completed school in River Rouge, Michigan.
Mr. Kelly married Mary Belman in 1975 in Canada, and the couple moved to Colville in 1991. He was employed by Hewes Marine until his retirement.
In Georgeâs spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his four-wheeler and motorcycle. He thoroughly enjoyed living in the country and spending time with his wife of 36 years.
