Panorama Juniors shine in desert

July 7, 2011

The Panorama Juniors U-17 club volleyball season came to an end last week in Phoenix, AZ. The team, comprised of members of the Colville High volleyball team, competed in the 28th annual volleyball festival in the desert. The tournament is the nation’s largest indoor girl’s volleyball event. During opening ceremonies at Chase Field (home of the Arizona Diamondbacks), the Panorama Juniors marched with over 500 teams and 8,000 athletes in all divisions. Honored during opening ceremonies were volleyball greats Misty May-Treanor and Karch Kiraly.
