Chandler Knight leads
in Tacoma
Colville High went into last Friday and Saturday’s Mat Classic XXIV on a roll. The Indians, on successive weeks, had annexed the Northeast A and District titles and captured their first regional crown.

Colville boys eliminate Freeman at Chelan
In a game more reminiscent of a backyard brawl or a rough around the edges Australian Rules Football scrum on roller derby skates, Colville High’s boys led wire to wire to register a 54-47 Bi-District winner-to-regionals/loser-out win Saturday afternoon over Freeman at Chelan Community Gymnasium.
The win for Colville (15-11) was the first this season in four tries over Northeast A League and District 7 1A champion Freeman (15-9).
