Big match with Lakeside
on Saturday at CHS
Colville High’s defending Northeast A League and District 7 tennis champions, currently leading the NEA race this soggy spring, are back in action this week after being idle over Spring Break.
CHS hosted Deer Park on Tuesday and will entertain Lakeside Saturday in a match-up that will go a long way toward determining this season’s NEA champion. Lakeside and the Indians battled for the league and district championships last spring.
Saturday’s match on the CHS courts is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start.

The NW Extreme Mustang Makeover is sponsored by the Mustang Heritage Foundation of Georgetown, Texas, in conjunction with the Bureau of Land Management, where the MHF has selected 45 trainers from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California and Nevada to pick up randomly selected wild horses from the BLM gathering centers in Oregon, California and Nevada.
