James Robert Strick, best known as Bob Strick of Kettle Falls, died peacefully Jan. 19, 2012 in Spokane of complications from previously undiagnosed Pancreatic Cancer and Cirrhosis. He was 72 years-old. He was born in 1939 in Missoula, MT to Marie and James Strick, and raised in Spokane.
Martin Frederick â€śMickâ€ť Jensen passed away in Spokane on Jan. 29, 2012 at the age of 74. He was born on Jan. 12, 1938 in Spokane, the son of Andrew and Aileen (Standard) Jensen.
Mick was a 1955 graduate of Colville High School and marÂ¬ried Virginia Holland in 1958. He worked for the Stevens County Road Department from 1960 until his retirement in 1991.
A celebration of life for Mr. Jensen will be held at a later date.

Our beloved husband and father, Harvey Scott, passed away on Jan. 30, 2012 in Colville at the age of 87. He was born on Feb. 22, 1924 to W.B. and Emma (Thompson) Scott in Bonners Ferry, ID.
Donna Parks of Rice passed away on Jan. 25, 2012 at Rice. She was 64. She was born in Ballard on June 27, 1947, the daughter of Donald L. and Valencia Rose Peters.
Donna worked for several years in Seattle for the Seattle Credit Bureau. She moved to her home in Rice in 1995 and enjoyed living in her home in the woods. She was fun to be around and loved reading magazines. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Donna is survived by her husband, Gerald Parks.
The graveside will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 2 at the Rice I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Rice.
Donna Lee Doyle of Colville passed peacefully into eternal life on January 26, 2012. She was born July 13, 1941 in Butte, MT, the daughter of Dalton â€śBriggsâ€ť Lafayette and Frances Cecilia (Sologub) Webb.
Donna was raised in Spokane with her older brother, William. She attended primary school at St. Francis of Assisi Parish and continued her education at Holy Names Academy and Sacred Heart School of Nursing.

Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre original adaptation of King Arthurâ€™s Quest on Monday, Jan. 30, from 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Colville High School (CHS) auditorium.
Approximately 50 students, grades K-12, will be cast to appear in the show. No advanced preparation is necessary and all interested students are encouraged to audition.
The Colville Dance Club is offering Country Two-Step lessons every Tuesday in February. Scott Hunt and Laurie Mayer from Alaska will be teaching.
Lessons start promptly at 6:30 p.m. for beginners and 7:40 p.m. for advanced. Donations are $6 for adults and $4 for students.
The Valentineâ€™s Dance will be Saturday, Feb. 11. Line dance lessons with Fred from 6 to 7 p.m., then the famous DJ Duo Fred and Rhonda Berger will be playing favorite songs to dance West Coast, East Coast, Cha Cha, Tango, Waltz, Rumba, Foxtrot, Country Two Step, line dancing, Night Club Two Step, Salsa and more.

Orville McKee was born on Oct. 30, 1916 in Colville to CharÂ¬les and Emma McKee. He passed away on Jan. 14, 2012 in SeÂ¬attle.
Orville was raised on a farm in Colville, at the foot of Old Dominion Mountain. He graduated from Colville High School in 1937 and came to Seattle in 1941 to work for The Boeing ComÂ¬pany, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Aero Mechanics District Lodge 751 Retirement club.
Berneice Elaine Magee passed away on Jan. 18, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born in Ritzville on Dec. 7, 1928, the daughter of Henry and Marie (Metzner) Buscher.
Berneice grew up in Ritzville and moved to the Hunters area in 1938. She married Guy Magee in 1949 and resided in Colville until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Magee; sisÂ¬ters Lois Lakey and Shirley Dietzman, and daughters, Coral Hansen and Patty Feldhausen.
Berneice is survived by her brother, Stan Buscher and his wife Shirley, Colville.
