4-H Shooting Sports Jamboree hits the mark

Archers fired arrows and clay pigeons were blasted from the sky during the annual 4-H Shooting Sports Jamboree June 13 at the Republic Gun Club shotgun and rifle ranges. More than 40 youth participated in the round-robin event, developing their marksmanship with shotguns, air rifles and pistols, and bows and arrows. Registration and appointments may be made by calling the WSU Ferry County Extension office at (509) 775-5225, x1116. The pre-fair qualifying shoot will take place on Saturday, August 17 by appointment at the Republic Gun Club shotgun range and Ferry County rifle range.
