METALINE FALLSâAward-winning Blues and American Roots Music performer Lauren Sheehan will be coming to the Cutter Theatre in the 100-year-old Metaline Falls School on Sunday, March 18, at 6 p.m. for an evening she calls âHardly Strictly Irish.â
The program is comprised of original songs, Irish melodies and stories, Blues, Folk and Blarney.
Sheehanâs album, Rose City Ramble, was voted the number eight-rated album by Folk DJ Radio and was a finalist in Americana Music for the IndeÂŹpendent Music Awards in 2006.
Sheehan and her guitar, mandolin and banjo tour exÂŹtensively and sheâs an audience favorite at Folk Life Festivals nationwide.
An Irish dinner will be served at 4:30 p.m. with three winter-warming hearty soups/stews, freshly made peasant bread, beverage and apple pie.
