Carolyn Beth Gallagher entered her Heavenly Father’s rest with the hope of resurrection on Jan. 10. At the age of 49, God brought Carolyn home after her courageous and faithful battle with cancer.
She was an 18-year resident of Kettle Falls. Born in West Covina, CA. on June 23, 1964 to Samuel and Beverly Nichols, she grew up in California until age 15 when she moved to Spokane. It was there that she later met her husband, Timothy Alan Gallagher. They were married Sept. 10, 1983.
Carolyn was a loving and selfless wife and mother who poured herself into others. She was dedicated to serving her family, church, and community.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy, children Michelle Anderson and husband Austin, Ashleigh Anderson and husband John, Alyssa True and husband Jonathan, and son, Marshall; parents Samuel and Beverly Nichols; siblings Shannon Woodin, Samuel Nichols and wife Cathrene, and mother-in-law Faye Gallagher. She has six grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Jan. 18 at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 915 S. Cedar St. in Colville with a luncheon to follow. Officiate is Pastor Kenton Spratt. Danekas Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Carolyn’s name to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Carolyn will be remembered for her genuine smile and laugh, and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
