Colville High (8-8, 3-5) dropped a pair of Great Northern League boy’s basketballgames last week.The Indians battled East Valley (14-3, 7-2) on nearly even terms before a pair of late three-pointers by Tanner Jacobs keyed a 57-54 Knights’ win Friday night in Spokane.One afternoon later in Colville, the Indians hung with high-flying Clarkston (14-2, 6-2) before the Bantams’superior firepower and speed took over and the visitors raced to a 71-58 win.Colville had no answer for 6-foot-1 swingman Kage Sobotta, who poured in 27 points.Matt Hubbard led Colville with 23 points.THIS WEEKColville faces an importantweek on the home hardwoods.
