Colville High athletic programs’ fund-raiser
Colville High School and NAPA Auto Parts are holding a battery core drive as a fundraiser to support Colville High School athletics, according to CHS Athletic Director, Kelly Carr.
“Used automotive lead acid type batteries can be dropped off at the local Colville NAPA store on Saturday, April 2,” Carr said.
These batteries will then be recycled by NAPA and a $10 donation made to the CHS Athletic Department for each battery dropped off.
“CHS is pleased to work with NAPA on a project that will support our programs and remove some hazardous materials from our local environment,” Carr added.
Only 6 or 12 volt lead acid type batteries will be accepted.
