Cora Kinard

Cora Kinard passed away peacefully after a lengthy decline on Sept. 18, 2010.
She was born Cora Virginia Hughart to Ruth Myrell Parlett and Robert Samuel Hughart on the Sept. 29, 1921 in Spokane.
She grew up at 909 W. Gordon in Spokane, attended Emerson Elementary graduated from North Central High School.
She attended Whitworth College and a trade school that awarded her a certificate in Comptometer operations. 
She married Lyman Vincent Kinard on May 27, 1951 at Knox Presbyterian Church.  Cora was employed with Jensen Byrd and by the Stevens County Credit Bureau. Her passions included cooking, sewing, music, gardening and huckleberries. 
Cora’s memorial will be held Friday, May 27, 2011 at First Congregational UCC at 205 N Maple, 1:00 p.m., where she had been a member since the fall of 1960.
The Danekas Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Colville has been entrusted with arrangements.
