Corinne M. Titus

Corinne M. Titus passed away April 4, 2014 in Spokane at the age of 84. Corrine was born in Santa Cruz, CA. on Nov. 28, 1929, the daughter of Andrew Norman and Amy McDonald.
Corinne married the love of her life, Clifford Earl Titus on June 3, 1947. Cliff and Corrine enjoyed 66-years of marriage. Cliff and Corrine lived in many places including California, Oregon and Washington.
Corinne was well known for her breads, pies, and dough gods with lots of butter and jam. When she was not in the kitchen, she was enjoying growing vegetables and flowers, and sitting on the porch watching birds. Corinne always enjoyed family potluck gatherings and could be counted on for a big batch of homemade biscuits.
Corinne attended school in Central Valley. She also attended Spokane Community College in 1969-1970 and became an LPN. She worked at Pinewood Terrace, then Eastern State Hospital and Lakeland Village in Medical Lake before retiring.
Corinne is survived by her husband, Cliff Titus at home in Deer Park; one son, Norman Clifford Titus, and wife, Barb, Colville; daughter-in-law Christine Titus, Longview; four grandchildren, Jason Titus and wife Jennifer, Deer Park; Lisa VanQuekelberg and husband Ryan, Colville; KC Titus and friend Tyler Sphuler, Deer Park; James Titus and wife, Jennifer, Olympia, and five great-granddaughters.
Corinne was preceded in death by her son, Clinton Andrew Titus, in 1999.
A celebration of Corinne’s life and potluck will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12 at the Fort Colville Grange.
