A cupcake against cancer

With a fascinating history (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cupcake) and a role in the war against terrorism (http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2011/06/03/136921564/reports-british...) it would be remiss of the Statesman-Examiner not to offer cupcakes, along with a variety of other pastries, during our bake sale fundraiser Tuesday, June 14 and Wednesday, June 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Give a monetary donation and walk away with a tasty treat, knowing that all proceeds will go toward the Stevens County Relay for LIfe (SCRFL), which takes place June 24 and 25 at the Colville High School track. Money generated from the SCRFL goes to the American Cancer Society to fund cancer research.
The Statesman-Examiner is located at 220 S. Main Street, Colville.
