Danny Lyle Tadlock

Danny Lyle Tadlock, age 61, passed onward July 19, 2011 in Olympia. He was born in 1950 in Chewelah to Wendell and Veda Tadlock and raised on a dairy farm near Addy. He is survived by his siblings Larry (Janet) of Yakima, Merle of Addy, Linda (Bill) Way of Colville and his mother, Vera Tadlock of Addy. He is also survived by his three sons, Craig, Jeffrey and Josh in western Washington and daughter, Lindsey in Yakima, and five grandchildren.
Danny worked at Addy’s Northwest Alloys Plant, Rural Resources and the Forest Service in Colville.
He was a talented drummer who performed in several bands: The Four Teens in high school, The Desperados, The Rhythm Drifters, The Roger Brothers and Barbara DeAnn and the Followers. He also performed with other groups.
Danny began skiing at a young age and was making his own by cutting long skis to create short ones, complete with baling twine safety straps.
He was very artistic and painted pictures of Jesus. He taught all his children about Jesus Christ.
Danny lived a fuller life in 61 years than most others that live longer lives. His absolute passion was hang gliding and motorized ultra-lights, logging more than 1,000 flights.
We know that he I soaring higher than ever now.
