Don McDaniel

Don Wayne McDaniel, 58, of Colville, passed away on Oct. 17, 2013.
Don was born in Albany, California on Wednesday, July 13, 1955 to Thomas and Frances McDaniel.
Don was married to Shelia McDaniel (Sanborn) on May 16. 1976.
Don worked several jobs in his lifetime. For twelve years he worked for Vaagen Brothers, where in 1989 he was named Employee Of The Year. After he departed Vaagen Brothers, he went to work for Andy and Bobbi Kroiss. Finally, he worked for True Survey.
Don loved to spend time outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with family. He also loved working on and rebuilding cars, or anything that had a combustion engine. His favorite projects were his two late ‘60’s Ford Mustangs.
Don is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sheila of Colville; his children, David and his wife Tracie, Portland, OR; Katie, Kettle Falls; Don Jr. and his wife Kate, Colville; seven grandchildren, Trey, Alan, Kaylee, Gia, Lilliana, Jayden and Evie; brothers Wally and Lee; sisters Rose and Sherry; numerous nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Frances McDaniel.
A potluck dinner to celebrate Don’s life will be held 5 p.m. at Little Gallea Restaurant in Kettle Falls.
The family of Don McDaniel wishes to thank those who have shown their support during this time of sorrow.
