Donald Johnston

Donald Johnston passed quietly at age 85, on Dec. 8, 2011. He joined his beloved wife of 62 years, Stella Johnston.
He served this country in World War II as an army medic and worked and later retired as a diesel mechanic.
On Donald’s behalf, we thank the Spokane VA Hospital staff for the respectful care and support given him and the family during his final days.
He is survived by his sister, Mary McAtee; his sons and daughters, Clare Sellers, Walter and Edith Johnston, Paul and Sue Johnston, and Jack Johnston; his seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
The legacy of his life will continue as we honor the quality of his life.
He will be laid to rest at the VA Cemetery in Medical Lake at a later date. We welcome friends and family to join us.
