Donald Lamica

Donald Thomas Lamica, a resident of Chewelah, passed away on May 31, 2011 in Chewelah at the age of 49. He was born on Nov. 5, 1961 in San Jose, CA, the son of Theodore Charles and Nancy Kaceda (Garner) Lamica.
Don loved to spend his time on the local lakes and streams fishing. He was an excellent craftsman when working with wood, and was a fantastic cabinet maker. Don loved spending time with his family, especially when it came to barbecues.
Don was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy, in 1997 and his father, Ted, in 2010.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Lamica, Ft. Carson, CO; his brothers, Chuck Lamica, Kettle Falls; Scott Lamica, Addy; and his sister, Brenda Lamica, Grand Rapids, MI.
A private family service will follow at a later date.
The Danekas Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Colville has been entrusted with arrangements.
