Don't forget our farmers

Colville Farmer’s Market is open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Wednesday thru October. They are located at the corner of Third and Oak every Wednesday. The Northeast Washington Farmers Market is located at Main and Astor in downtown Colville from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday. Highlight of the year is the Great Pumpkin Growing Contest so bring the kids down to the market and pick up a free pumpkin start. Also on June 18 the first Father’s Day Ice Cream Social will be held. Ice cream will be served in a cup or cone. Mark your calendar and come to celebrate Father’s Day with a real ice cream treat. This is the market where you can know your farmer and know where your food comes from. Come and meet the local producers.
The Chewelah Farmers Market’s new location is at Chewelah City Park on the northwest corner. Come and see all they have to offer. Market hours are every Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until October 14. For information contact call 509-936-4353.
