Edna Visger, 88, formerly of Libby, MT, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at Pinewood Terrace Nursing Home in Colville on June 8, 2012. She was born Sept. 13, 1923 to Cally Wilson and Janet (Helps) Wilson at Fromberg, MT. Her father died shortly after her birth. The family moved to Libby in 1936 where Edna continued her education. She graduated from Libby High School. Following high school, Edna married Paul Moody in 1942. The couple raised two daughters, Sandra and Callie.
Edna worked both in the home as well as for the Western News and the Ford Dealership. Paul preceded her in death in 1968. She married Lawrence Visger in November, 1976. The couple continued to be active members and volunteers at church until health issues prompted their transfer to a nursing home in Washington in 2009 to be near family.
