Eighth annual Mayor’s Open slated May 4

March 30, 2012

One of the biggest and most popular one-day golf tournaments of the season at Dominion Meadows Golf Course will be held Friday, May 4 when the Mayor’s Open Golf Tournament unfolds at DM.
Presiding over this year’s tournament will be new Colville Mayor, Deborah Rarrick.
Entry fee is $60 per player (includes 18 holes of golf, shirt, lunch, dinner and “goodie bag”).
There are also hole sponsorships ($100), team and hole sponsorships (combined $325) and combined team and shirt sponsorships ($750) available.
The tournament serves as the largest fund-raiser of the year for the Colville Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to the four-person Scramble format, there will be a silent auction ongoing during the afternoon of the tournament.
Following golf, a brief program honoring Colville’s Business of the Year will be held at the Elk’s Lodge. The incoming Miss Colville royalty will be introduced and the 2012 “Town Turkey” and Volunteer of the Year will be named. New Chamber of Commerce officers for 2012-2013 will also be introduced.
This year’s Mayor’s Open golf committee includes Rarrick, Fred Woods, Jim Burr, Valeria Tell, Debbie Therrian and Zach Ross.
