Harold Weatherman

Harold Leland Weatherman, a longtime resident of the Colville area, passed away on July 27, 2013 in Colville. He was born on Jan. 16, 1929 at Inchelium, the son of Ralph and Mary (Kohler) Weatherman.
Harold married Ann Benson in 1948. He began working for the Draper Lumber Mill as a mechanic. From there, he transferred to Bronson’s Implement and finished his working career at the State Highway Department.
His family grew up with the birth of their children, Judy, Steve, Mike and Rick. Harold enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and other sporting events with family and friends over the years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; a daughter, Diane; his parents, two brothers, Roy Weatherman and Don Weatherman.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Judy Lawson, Omak; by his sons, Steve Weatherman and wife Sandy, Chewelah; Mike Weatherman and wife Alice, Kettle Falls; Rick Weatherman and wife Cindy, Reseda, CA; a sister, Carol, of Colville; nine grand¬children, 12 great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held August 24 at Mountain View Park Pavilion, with a reception following at the Colville Eagles Lodge.
