Jacob Stachofsky

August 28, 2013

Jacob Andrew Stachofsky age 37, passed away in the arms of his friend David, and was called home to be with his Savior Je¬sus Christ in Chewelah on August 6, 2013. Jacob died as the result of injuries obtained in an automobile accident.
Jacob was the second of three sons born to Kamiah C. Cougill and Michael J. Stachofsky. He was born in Spokane on July 20, 1976 at 8:46 p.m. He graduated from Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Idaho in 1995 and had many different jobs during his lifetime. Those jobs included working for his uncle at Blue Ribbon Linen Supply, Montana Vision, and last, but not least, Ace Hardware in Chewelah, where he finally felt at home.
Jacob’s walk through life was not an easy one and yet he peersevered and al¬ways had a twinkle in his eye and a huge smile on his face. Anyone who took the time to truly know him and who he really was, holds a piece of his heart. Jacob’s life was a testimony to the grace and love of his Savior, who was with him during every step of his life. His most treasured gifts in life were his children, Samantha, Kaleb and Jeremiah, who he cherished above all else. Jacob will truly live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. He finished his life well and finished it in peace.
Jacob is survived by his mother, Kamiah C. Goodwin and husband Clint; his two brothers, Jayson M. Stachofsky, wife Lori and son Michael, and Max L. Glasgow III, wife Jaeda, son Max and daughter Ayva; his paternal grandmother, Gertrude Stachofsky, maternal grandfather Fredrick S.
