Jeffrey Fisher

Jeffrey G. Fisher, a resident of Spokane, passed away on June 23, 2011 in Spokane at the age of 26. He was born on Dec. 18, 1984 in Spokane, the son of Thomas Wayne and Fisher and Lori Denise Munson.Jeffrey moved to Omak with his family, where he began school. While in Omak, he was introduced to T-ball, which developed into a life-long love of baseball. At the age of 9, his family moved to Colville, where he began the fourth grade. Jeffrey’s love for baseball continued to grow throughout his education as he participated on Little League, Babe Ruth, high school and on American Legion teams. The highlight of his baseball career was leading the underdog Lions to the Little League championship in his final year. Jeffrey began working at Radio Shack while in high school and developed an avid interest in technology and electronic gadgets, especially cell phones. He was a young entrepreneur and began as a boy selling golf balls he had found to passing golfers. He enjoyed working with people and excelled in sales. Jeffrey graduated from Colville High School in 2003 and moved to Spokane that fall. He worked at Radio Shack in the Northtown Mall while attending Eastern Washington University. In 2004, Jeffrey began working for Wireless Advocates that operates cell phone kiosks in Costco stores. He worked his way from sales to kiosk manager at the Costco Store in the Valley. He was a loved and respected member of their sales team. He was an avid fan of the Spokane Chiefs hockey team and the Seattle Seahawks. In the summers, he enjoyed time on the golf course and during the winter months, Jeffrey snowboarded at area ski lodges. He had a passion for his work and shared much of his spare time with friends and family. Jeff was loved and his presence will be deeply missed.He is survived by his mother, Lori Munson and husband, Scott, Chewelah; father, Tom Fisher, Omak; sister, Ashley Simmons and husband, Allen, Kettle Falls; son, Lance Baker; grandparents, Violet Fisher, Wilbur; Don and Eileen Munson, Chewelah; nephews, Chase, Talan and Devan, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 9 at the Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville.
