Jim Culton

August 8, 2014

“Jim” James V. Culton was born April 9, 1961 in Colfax and died July 16, 2014 in Spokane.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Dayona (DD) Culton; their children, Skyler and Tayler; father, Verlen Culton; sister, Sue Kahle; her husband, Ron and nephew and niece, Nick and Pearl.
Jim was called home by his Heavenly Father after a tragic motorcycle accident. Jim was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Jim’s most memorable trait was his laugh. That laugh was loved by all! Jim’s passions were hunting, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his family. He had an incredible ability to retain knowledge on the subjects he cared for, like motorcycles, cars, and guns.
Jim worked as a residential framer for many years. After marrying DD, he went to work for Spokane Airways. Eight years later, he acquired his real estate license and worked in Loon Lake at Ridler Real Estate. His latest position was with Double Eagle Pawn in Deer Park.
Jim’s beautiful girls, Skyler and Tayler, meant everything to him. His most treasured memories were the vacation trips to Florence, OR. The sand dunes were his absolute favorite place!
Memorial service will be held August 10 at 11 a.m. at The Barn on Wildrose Prairie (21920 N. Felspar, Rd., Deer Park).
