John Melville

John Melville a resident of Deer Park, and formerly of Valley, passed away on Nov. 19, 2011. He was 83.
He is the dear husband of Virginia Malek and the loving father of Cheryl of Chattaroy. His brothers are Robert Melville of Spokane and Gerald Melville of Valley.
John enjoyed numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Born in 1928 at Valley, John graduated from Valley High School (Class of 1944), and was a truck driver for many years with the State of Washington Highway Department and then was a slag hauler at ALCOA in Addy. He retired in 2001.
John was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Loon Lake.
A memorial service honoring Mr. Melville will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Loon Lake at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, with Pastor Brian Davis officiating, followed with a reception for all family and friends.
Private family interment service will precede the funeral at the Chewelah Memorial Park Cemetery.
