Ken & Monica Eberhard

August 20, 2012

A memorial service and scattering of ashes will be held August 25, 2012 at 3 p.m. to celebrate the lives of Kenneth and Monica Eberhard, of Colville on the stone bridge that Ken built on their property at 514 Gold Creek Loop.
Ken was a teacher in the Colville School District, and after retiring, worked a few years for the Department of Natural Resources. Monica worked in retail for a few years on Colville’s main street. They loved to dance, and were avid members of both the Miss-n-Links and the Square Wheelers Square Dance Clubs.
Ken and Monica enjoyed playing table games, bridge in particular, and were fierce competitors. They traveled extensively in the United States and Europe, and wintered for a number of years in Phoenix, AZ and Kino Bay, Mexico. They enjoyed being with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ken passed away in August 2011. Monica passed away in January 2006.
All who knew Ken and/or Monica are invited to join their families for this time of remembrance. Cake and ice cream will be served following the scattering of their ashes.
The family wishes to thank the new owners of the Gold Creek property for their kind and generous extension of hospitality.
