Kenneth Howell

Kenneth Bruce Howell, a longtime Colville resident, passed away in Colville on Jan. 1, 2013 at the age of 72. He was born the son of Byron and Agnes (Carlson) Howell on Sept. 21, 1940 in Colville.
Kenneth grew up in Colville, and after graduating from Colville High School, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. Following his honorable discharge from the Coast Guard, Kenneth attended college in Yakima, receiving his associate degree. While in college, Kenneth enrolled in flying lessons and received his pilot’s license.
Kenneth worked for Puritan & Bennett, a medical equipment supplier, in Seattle and Houston, TX as a Sales Representative. After his retirement, Kenneth returned to Colville to build his dream home on Lake Sherry. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, constructing stained glass pieces, and spending time at the lake.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Cindi Becker and husband Dan, Troutdale, OR; son Kenneth Feickert, Lexington, KY; grandchildren Taylor, Skylor, and Thomas; great- grand-daughter, Payton; brother, John Howell and wife Jan, Colville; nephew, Doug Howell, wife Correna and their children, Colville; a niece, Sheri Hopkins-Howell, husband Cameron and their child, Los Angeles, CA; numerous cousins and friends.
A celebration of life for Kenneth will be held at a later date on Lake Sherry.
