KIPS season starts this weekend

The Colville KIPS Gymnastics’ team will open its season this weekend at the Winter Spirit Meet in Clarkston. The meet will be hosted by the 360 Gymnastics Club. On Jan. 21-22, the KIPS will compete at The Hub in the Spokane Valley (Flip Fest, hosted by Dynamic Gymnastics of Spokane). Dynamic will also host a clinic on Friday, Jan. 20 that will feature several Olympians. The KIPS competitive team will be in Pullman Feb. 3-5 for the Palouse Invitational. The meet is annually hosted by Palouse Gymnastics. From March 9-11, the KIPS will compete at March Madness at Northwest Christian High School (Colbert). The meet will be hosted by Northwest Gymnastics. A state qualifier (Compulsories) will be held at Dynamic Gymnastics in March. State meets will be held on the west side in late April and early May. The KIPS club, located at 895 S. Washington in Colville, offers recreational and competitive gymnastic activities from ages 2 to 18 (all skill levels). New to the KIPS program offering is Parents Night Out on the first and third Friday of the month starting Jan. 6.
