Linda Lou Holford

Linda Lou Holford, a resident of Inchelium, passed away on Feb. 2, 2012 in Spokane at the age of 63. She was born on Feb. 20, 1948 in Nespelem, the daughter of James Steven and Anna Lorene (Peone) Michel.
Linda was raised in Inchelium and in the surrounding areas. In June 1968, she married the love of her life, Kenneth “Whitey” Holford of Inchelium. Linda worked at home most of her life tending to the needs of her family, but also worked in the woods a couple summers. She loved spending time at area casinos trying her luck on the “One Armed Bandits.” Most of all, Linda loved spending time with her family, especially the big get-to¬gethers when her kids and grandkids were there.
Linda was preceded in death by her brothers, Ron, Chick, Chuck, Raymond, Dennis and by her sisters, Shirley, Viola, and Deanna.
She is survived by her husband Whitey; her four daughters, Cheryl, Cindy, Stefanie, and Chris; her brother, Bo; her sisters, Vera and Melva; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
The Rosary and wake for Linda will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the St. Michael’s Mission in Inchelium, followed by the mass at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 9.
