Louise Ruth Jones

Louise Ruth Jones, a long time resident of Colville, passed away on Nov.12, 2011. She was born in Rodeo, CA. on March 23, 1924. She lived in San Francisco for over 20 years raising her children. She met and married Buzz Jones and they moved to Reno, NV. And lived there for over 10 years.
In 1977 she and Buzz moved to Colville and built their home in the Cedar Creek area. Buzz and Louise were married for over 45 years. She was very close to the Lord and was a member of the Northport Baptist Church.
She was known as the woman of hugs, heart to heart hugs. She loved life, music, song and her family. She always had an optimistic outlook.
She is survived by one son, Bernard “Pete” Uribe; two daughters, Barbara and her husband Michael Garcia of Grun Mountain Falls, CO. and Anita and her husband Jim Gran of Colville.
A second son, Alexander Charles Uribe, passed away in 2005.
She is survived by 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Northport Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to
