Michael Chartier

Michael Robert Chartier passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Oct. 31, 2013. He was born on Feb. 1, 1999 in Oregon City, Oregon, the son of Oda Roy and Doreen Louise (Elliott) Chartier.
Michael grew up in Addy and attended school in Colville, where he had many friends. He had a true uplifting spirit and an unforgettable smile that would leave a lasting impression with anyone he met.
Michael loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his four-wheeler, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a true friend to everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Elliott.
He is survived by his parents, Oda and Doreen Chartier, Addy; grandfather and grandmother, Oda and Henrietta Chartier, Grants Pass, OR; grandmother, Marion Elliott, Addy; brothers Jerry and Jeremiah Chartier, Addy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A celebration of Michael’s life was held at the family home on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Please remember Michael and the courageous fight he fought with ALS.
