Colville High School junior Aubrey Milatz won the title of Miss Colville at last Saturday’s annual Miss Colville program in the CHS Auditorium. The Miss Colville event serves as a scholarship program for local 11th grade female students, and is sponsored in part by the Colville Chamber of Commerce and area businesses. Ten girls participated in this year’s program. Milatz, daughter of Steven and Angela Milatz, also won the scholastic, spirit and judges’ choice awards. First Alternate is Taryn Edlin, daughter of Kevin and Cherri Edlin. Second Alternate is Hannah Johnson, daughter of Arne and Melissa Johnson. Johnson won the poise, talent and fitness categories. The three young ladies will serve as ambassadors for the Colville community, attending various social functions and riding the Colville float in regional parades. For more pictures of last Saturday’s Miss Colville, see this week’s hardcopy S-E.
