Patricia Ames

Patricia R. Ames, a resident of the Colville and Spokane area for the last 31 years, and loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Sept. 6, 2011 at Riverview Care Center in Spokane.
Pat was born Sept. 20, 1937 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Walt and Margaret (Sturgis) LeMaster.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Edward James Ames, and by one brother, Jim LeMaster.
She is survived by her sons, Jay Ames and his wife, Pam, Spokane; Jeff Ames, Spokane; Chris Ames, Spokane; Kevin Ames and wife, Kari, Nine Mile Falls; and Sara Adams and husband, Chad, Nine Mile Falls; and her grandchildren, Erica, Michael, Adam, Aunika, Callista, Sam, Andy, Sydney, Emma, Bailey, Joe and Kynan.
A funeral service was held, Sept. 9 at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Spokane with Pastor Jim Johnson as the officiant.
Memorial contributions may be given to Huntington Disease Society of America.
