Ronald Chute

August 29, 2014

Ronald “Ron” F. Chute passed away from a heart attack on August 15, 2014, one month shy of his 68th birthday. Ron was born on Sept. 19, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Wayne and Irene (Frank) Chute.
Ron was a talented and creative soul who was able to quickly master just about any craft that interested him. He had a passion for the cowboy life, and enjoyed riding and packing trips with friends. Ron also had a passion for leatherwork, and was one of the most talented wood and leather workers in the Northwest.
He loved his two border collies, Bob and Skye, his friends in eastern Washington and scattered across the West, as well as his family. Ron’s friends were like family to him. If he liked you, you were all in, whether he had known you a week or a lifetime. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Irene Chute, and by a nephew, Nate Chute.
He is survived by his siblings, Sandra Berry (Jim) of San Antonio, Texas; Joyce Lesley of Omaha, Nebraska; Judy McAuley of Gilbert, Arizona; and Terry Chute (Jane Kollmeyer) of Helena, Montana, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
At Ron’s request, no funeral service is scheduled at this time. Please visit the online memorial and sign the guestbook at www.danekasfuneralchapel.com.
Danekas Funeral Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
