Rudy Krager I

Rudy Krager was born Dec. 24, 1944. He passed away May 6, 2011 in Yakima.
Mr. Krager is survived by his wife, Bobby Jean Krager; four children, Pamela Rose, Robert (Brad) Brazel, Rudy Krager II and Brian Brazel; and four grandchildren.
He was born in McMinnville, Oregon and raised in Tillamook, Oregon. He moved to Kettle Falls in 1965 as a Boise Cascade foreman. He retired from Boise in 2000. He later worked for an armored car company and retired from that position in 2010.
He loved hunting (deer or anything he could shoot), camping, boating, a cold beer on a hot day, barbecuing with close friends and spending time with his family. Mr. Krager also loved the sound of laughter and big Bear Hugs.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 28 at Fort Colville Grange Hall. The service will start at 11 a.m. A potluck will follow.
