Sheri Campuzano

Sharon “Sheri” Rosella Campuzano, a seven-year resident of the Flat Creek area of Kettle Falls, passed away on Feb. 24, 2012 in Colville at the age of 73. She was born on Oct. 7, 1938 in Bakersfield, CA, the daughter of Chester and Meriom (Page) Durham.
Sheri moved around with her family many times growing up, living in California, Nevada and for a short time in Florida. She became a dental technician after attending college and worked for a few years in the dental industry. She moved to Hillsboro, OR and worked for many years as an office manager for a large landscaping company. Sheri moved back to Southern California for a short time before settling on the Northport-Flatcreek Rd. seven years ago.
Sheri loved creating things with her hands, especially knitting and crocheting. She was an excellent seamstress and designed the nicest men’s western shirts. She also tried her hand at a couple of paintings and did a very nice job. Sheri loved garden¬ing like she loved life. Sheri was always upbeat and lived life to the fullest. She will be missed by her loving family.
Sheri is survived by her son, Scott Vickrey and wife Barbara, Collierville, TN; her daughters, Laura Pillsbury and husband Chris, Keiser, OR, and Linda Crawford, Lake Charles, LA; her three grandchildren, Amber Meadows and husband Josh, Brian Vickrey and Jason Williams; her sisters, Candy Bolthausen and husband Hans of Kettle Falls, and Sandra Powers of Hisperia, CA; her niece, Ingrid Valdez; her nephew, Derek Bolthausen, and her pet dog, Pip.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to offer their thanks and appreciation to the nurses and doctors who cared for Sheri at Providence Mt. Carmel Hospital.
The Danekas Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Colville has been entrusted with arrangements.
