Thelma Warwick

Thelma F. Warwick (Grillo) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Jan. 20, 2014 from chronic health issues at the age of 73. She was born on Feb. 7, 1940, the eldest of three siblings, to Henry and Elaine Grillo in Tonasket.
Thelma leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Stan; her sons, Rusty Warwick, Spokane; Phil Warwick and his wife, Tina, Kettle Falls; her daughter, Kim Warwick, Spokane, and two grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Warwick.
Thelma graduated from Tonasket High School in 1958. After high school she attended Kinman Business University in Spokane. She loved doing her arts and crafts, gardening, all kinds of baking, cooking at hunting camp in Colorado, being outdoors and was head over heels in a huckleberry patch.
She was a very kind and loving grandma, and she will be missed very much.
She is also survived by her mother, Elaine Grillo, Tonasket; one brother, Marvin Grillo and wife Gini, Oroville; one sister, Sherri Laurie and husband, Ted, Tonasket; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at the Kettle Falls Legion Hall (1057 U.S. 395 Highway, Kettle Falls) on Feb. 22 at noon.
