Tipari Gould

Tipari (Mama) Gould of Rice passed away July 26, 2013 at her home with family. Mama Gould was born Tipari Aka in Hakamaii, Ua Pou, Marquises Island on Jan. 3, 1939 to Tahiakaukautous Aka and Maieua Aka.
Mama Gould immigrated to Hawaii in 1962, where she met and married Lloyd Gould in 1965. Besides being a loving wife and mother to two boys, she was well known for her bubbly personality and effervescent spirit in church and community circles.
She came to know the Lord in 1977 through a loving neighbor she called Papa Webb that changed her life forever. She worked at a Christian school in Forks, as well as at Prairie Bible Institute in Canada with students and children from around the world.
She will be dearly missed by the many lives she has touched from her unwavering service to others.
Mama Gould is survived by son, Thomas Gould and granddaughter, Mirielle Gould, Tacoma; son, James Gould, Greeley, CO; and by her husband, Lloyd Gould, Rice.
A memorial service was held at Inchelium Community Church on August 10.
