Little Natalie Brooke was the winner of the Statesman-Examiner’s annual First Baby of the Year contest. The 19-inch long, five-pound, eight-ounce baby girl was born Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009 at 10:24 a.m. at Mount Carmel Hospital. Her parents are Rick and Kristy Housworth of Colville. She has two brothers, Miles, 6, and Dawson, 5. Maternal grandparents are Jim and Alice Olsen of Colville. Paternal Grandparents are Glendale and Dorthea Housworth of Canada. Photo by Sophia Aldous.
