Aug 20 â 21: The Colville Public Library is scheduled to be closed and begin their upgrades on August 20th & 21st. Visit the library's website for more details and schedule updates: thelosc.org The Libraries of Stevens County will be conducting technology upgrades throughout the months of August and September. This process may cause library closures and limited computer access. Please check with your branch for specific details, including the days and hours that libraries will be closed. Most library locations will be closed for two consecutive days to allow for the installation of equipment and staff training. Only one library in the district will be closed at a time and patrons may use any library in the county. The Library currently has Microsoft XP on many of its public computers and since Microsoft is no longer supporting that software, the Library will be upgrading to Windows 8.
